The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library presented
New Jersey Birds Throughout the Seasons
by Donna Traylor
Sunday, May 7, 2023

Whether you are a backyard birdwatcher or someone who loves to travel widely to see new avian species, this program is for you! Donna Traylor fills both those categories. She started observing her then suburban birds as a teen and has planned vacations for decades around seeing new bird species throughout the United States. She is the current president of Montclair Bird Club (www.montclairbirdclub.org) and past president of Sussex County Bird Club (www.sussexcountybirdclub.org) . This program will take you through each season highlighting typical (and some more unusual) species of birds found both in Sussex County and throughout NJ. You will also learn how to attract birds (and other flying critters) to your yard.
