The Skylands Dulcimer String Band returns to the Sussex-Wantage Library on Sunday, February 11th at 2pm with a “Love Themed” musical afternoon for your enjoyment. Although the band normally concentrates on Celtic and Americana music, this concert will add many familiar pop tunes that you can sing along to (we hope)! If you haven’t been introduced to hammer and mountain dulcimers, Irish bouzouki and bodhran, come on out and we’ll tell you all about these somewhat eclectic instruments. Popular songs from the 1950’s to now will make up the set lists - along with some of the band’s favorite toe-tapping Irish tunes.
