Skylands Dulcimer String Band

The Skylands Dulcimer String Band is a group of four musicians that enjoy sharing music with others. What began as an acoustic Folk/Celtic band has expanded to include light classical, pop, traditional American and seasonal sounds. So, you may hear a toe-tapping Celtic tune followed by a familiar sing along selection. Their members do triple duty playing multiple instruments including hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, 6 and 12 string guitar, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, penny whistle, boudran, bass, Celtic harp, keyboards and cello. They love to educate the public about the more unusual instruments they play, so be prepared!
