The Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. The Friends of the Library have purchased an annual Library Membership Pass which is made available to library patrons on a first come first serve basis.
Storm King is only a one hour drive from the Sussex-Wantage Branch library. The pass is valid for one free six-person car admission to Storm King, limited to one ticket per day. The pass is currently available for one week at a time for borrowers, so stop in or call the Sussex-Wantage branch to reserve the week that you want. This is a popular destination, and it may be booked up to one month in advance only! Advance ticket reservations are not required at Storm King for library patrons with a valid Library Membership Pass.
- Storm King Pass will be lent from Tuesday to Monday.
- Pass must be returned to the Sussex-Wantage branch no later than Monday.
- Pass cannot be sent via courier to another branch for checkout.
- The Pass MUST be returned to the Sussex-Wantage branch in person at the Circulation Desk ... Not the bookdrop!
Storm King is closed on Tuesdays. It is open only on weekends during the months of Dec, Jan, Feb and March.
