A Gong Bath is a sound journey, a meditative and transformational experience, where the participant is bathed in the sound and vibrations of the gongs, creating deep feelings of peace, relaxation and timelessness. The energies of the gongs take hold of the listener and move them in wonderfully unexpected ways. Participants have described it as emotionally cleansing and an energetic journey. The gongs create complex harmonics, deep pulsing tones and beautifully rhythmic waves of sound. These tones remind the listener of the deep space, distant voices, a caring heartbeat, or the songs of nature. Listeners are often surprised and moved by the experience, and they feel rejuvenated and relaxed afterward.

David will discuss the healing benefits of sound, and how to use sound and vocal toning as tools for deepening your meditation and daily self care routine. David will then perform a 50 minute Gong Bath, leading you in a healing sound journey while bathing you with the vibrations of gongs, creating feelings of relaxation, timelessness and peace.

You will be guided through breathing exercises, mindfulness practices and simple toning. These serve to relax your body and awaken your ears to open the ability to experience the gongs more fully.

David is excited to share the benefits of the gongs and sound healing with as many people as possible. He believes that the gong's ability to soothe the nervous system and activate the relaxation response is a vital gift that many can benefit from.

During the event you may lie or sit on the floor. Chairs will be available. Bring mats, cushions, blankets, water, an eye mask for personal comfort.
